Steamvr in safe mode, after psmove_monitor closes

Open MyNameIsArko opened this issue 5 years ago • 5 comments

Hi, I have a problem that happens only in the 1.6.0 build. When I start steamvr, it's starting psmove service, and opens psmove_monitor, and controller light bulb is glowing, and then something weird happens, only on 1.6 build. psmove_monitor is closing unexpected, and steam gives critical error, or going into safe mode (always going in this mode, never starts normal with working everything). Can someone help me? Or atleast help me get to work psmove buttons on older versions, so i can play.

Here's a file of psmove log and vrserver log vrserver.txt PSMoveService.log

Unplugging my ds4 controller from my pc fixed it for me.

I'm having a similar issue. Suddenly I started to get a 108 error from SteamVR and the message "Failed to receive UDP connection id: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" from Psmoveservice. One day was working perfectly, other day it apears these errors. I already spend 2 days trying to solve this issue, but I got no solutions. I suspect that the problem came with a windows 10 update. Damn! Another Bill Gate's headeache!

I just figured out that the psmove service was seeing my xbox controller as a navi controller. No sense! I just unplugged the USB of my xbox controller and the error did not appear anymore. Some people was having the same issues because some camera's drivers problems. Thus, I recomend unplug all unnecessary devices from USB and reinstall camera's drivers.
