🐛Checkin Lists report more checked in people than attendees

Open phtaylor opened this issue 1 month ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug We hosted an event with 2 checkin lists. A Main entrance and VIP entrance for performers/volunteers. As VIPs/performers/volunteers were going to the main entrance, we allowed them to checkin there as well.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what those numbers mean. I was often asked to provide numbers to indicate how many people we had checked in as we reached capacity. As you can see, the numbers don't make sense.

I am guessing that because many of the ticket types cold check in at both doors, a checkin at one door would count for both doors.

This meant we had no idea how many people had actually checked in which became a serious safety issue.

To Reproduce Note: I havn't had time to repro this issue. The following is a guess based on the numbers we see in our event.

  1. Create an event with 2 ticket types and 2 checkin lists.
  2. Add the ticked types to both check-in lists
  3. Check in users at either entrance.
  4. I guess you will see the counts for both entrances being incremented.

Expected behavior I think a checkin should be recorded that associates a ticket with an entrance. The entrance should only count tickets checked in at that entrance.

The checkin counts need to be an accurate reflection of the number of checked in people at that specific entrance..

Hi @phtaylor,

Updating to the latest version should fix this issue. The latest release included improvements for check in lists.
