When an event is full, the system can allow people to fill in their information, so that when the event got bigger capacity or when some people don't show up, the system can notify people on the waiting list to join the event and pay.
Hi @daveearley ! First of all, thanks for creating this open-source alternative to other platforms. I just found out about hi.events, and I love it; I might be using it to host some free monthly community events.
Related to this issue, I have a question. At the moment, is there any workaround for when event capacity is reached? I have a limited number of spaces, but I'd still like to get the emails of interested folks so that I can invite them to future events. Thanks in advance!

Currently, the only workaround is to create a non-ticket product called "Waitlist". Not ideal, but is the only workaround at the moment.
You could also add a link to a Google form in the ticket description of the sold out ticket.
Waitlists will be added in the next major version.

THis was moved to In Progress in June... can we expect it in 1.2 version ?
