Separate Repository for Mukalu?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible if HewlettPackard could create a separate repository for Mukalu? If not, would they allow for someone else to create a GitHub repo mirror for them? It is nearly impossible to find the source code for Mukalu as it is in a separate branch. I know this repo is not being maintained anymore, but if possible, even creating a repo and then archiving it would be fine.
