NAudio 2.0.0 - and therefore NAudio.Lame 2.0.0 - targets .NET Standard 2.0, so the minimum supported .NET Framework version is v4.7.2. No, this cannot be fixed. If you are still using ancient versions of .NET Framework then you're going to be limited to earlier releases. Check out the previous release for a NuGet package that will work with .NET Framework 4.5 (and possibly lower).
