GOG shortcuts open the system root directory in File Explorer instead of launching the game
Describe the bug
When installing a game from my GOG library via Heroic (GOGDL) and attempting to run it using the dedicated Start menu shortcut, I am instead greeted with a File Explorer view of my system root directory. I have tried installing other GOG games and installing one to the default game folder, but the results are the same. Opening up the properties of each shortcut reveals that all of them attempt to open my C:\ drive, rather than what I assume would be the Heroic launch protocol.

Steps to reproduce
- Install any GOG game from Heroic
- Launch the dedicated Start menu shortcut
- See whether or not it opens up the root drive of the File Explorer instead of running the game
Expected behavior
Running the Start menu shortcuts of games installed with Heroic should run the game directly or launch the game through Heroic.

Are you using a shortcut created by a GOG game's installer? or is that shortcut created by Heroic?
because if you get a shortcut created by a game when you run it's installer, we can't do anything about it, it's just what the game installer does and we can't change it cause any game can do whatever they want
you should use the option provided by heroic that creates heroic-compatible shortcuts (in the 3-dots menu of a game there's a button add shortcuts)
May this issue be reopened? I have edited the initial post to clarify that I am using Heroic's GOG backend to install these games.

Those are arguments used by GOG Galaxy to launch games that are installed with it from the associated shortcuts. I don't have GOG Galaxy installed to my system, so that may be why it is just giving me the root drive instead. Does Heroic normally replace the GOG Galaxy shortcut targets with compatible equivalents?
heroic should be creating shortcuts that look like this https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/blob/main/src/backend/shortcuts/shortcuts/shortcuts.ts#L45 starting with the heroic://... protocol to always launch heroic first, but that doesn't seem to be part of your shortcuts
Tested this again by installing a GOG game from Heroic in a clean Windows 10 VM - results were the same.
