[Request] Pull game assets from Steamdb/Steamgriddb when adding games to steam

I would add something like that myself, but I have no idea how to code. Either way, since steamdb and steamgriddb can let you download official library assets, why cant heroic do the same?

I already wrote something like this. I will try to implement it if i have time. Keep in mind you need a steamgriddb account, because only steam rom manager is allowed todo it without account. The steam rom manager maintainer is also the maintainer of steamgriddb. I already talked with him and he said we can use it with the users steamgriddb api key, but not a general api key.

This feature appears to be somewhat disabled at the moment.Currently adding non-epic and gog games can no longer automatically obtain the cover image of the game from SteamGridDB.

Btw this is about adding games to steam nit adding sideloaded games to heroic.
