Flatpak version does not create shortcuts properly (missing folders)

I tried creating a shortcut for games by left clicking on it > Tools > Add shortcut but those won't create neither in ~/.local/share/applications (Flatseal says the app cannot access it apparently) nor in ~/.var/app/com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl/.local/share/applications as these folder (.local/share/applications) don't exist.

Example: (tried with both Rocket League and GTA V)

Creating .local/share/applications manually fixes creating the .desktop entry. Full logs are here:

You have to give heroic access to system files / those folders using flatseal iirc.
