Status window ends up all over the place since 3.10.1
Since I installed version 3.10.1, the status window and/or the context menu does not appear next to the status bar icon. They appear randomly anywhere on the screen. Sometimes even out of viewable area. After force quit and reboot of the app, it will work as expected for a short while - but soon, it's back to mayhem and random behaviour.
Same issue here. It looks like an issue with changing screen resolution. It happens quite often after using Remote Desktop for example.
@MacManX which OS are you using Nagstamon at? @maxlepus did you use it in the RDP session or in parallel to a RDP session?
Hi Henri, i use it in the RDP session. (Server & Client = Win 10) Nagstamon runs on my work desktop. Sometimes i connect from home via RDP to this desktop.
Same here, under Ubuntu 22.04, two monitor setup, jumps on monitor #1, though #2 is primary. Updated and now returned to 3.8.0 (the current Ubuntu repo version).
@patric42 under which conditions this jumps occur?
sorry, maybe 'jumping' is the wrong description here. It merely pops up on the 'other', non-primary (though the 'left') monitor after clicking on the notification icon. It 'feels' like jumping, but it just opens on the monitor with the least x coordinates I guess.
As this his hard to reproduce there are more questions:
- did work on 3.8?
- does it alway behave like that?
- can you send me a screenshot?
@patric42 @MacManX @maxlepus you do all run it as statusbar icon?
@patric42 do you use Wayland or Xorg?
@patric42 @MacManX @maxlepus can you try the latest testing release?
