OPUS-CAT on MacBook M1 (Windows 11 on Parallels)

I'm using Trados Studio and MemoQ on Windows 11 virtualized in Parallels Desktop on MacBook Pro Silicon (M1 chip). Everything is working well except for failing to start OpusCatMTEngine.exe

Is there anything to make it work in this environment?

Here's the error I get:

Unfortunately there is currently no workaround for this, the Marian NMT executable that OPUS-CAT uses requires AVX, and M1 does not support AVX.

I have been meaning to switch to a Marian executable without AVX because of the compatibility issue, but I haven't had time to do it (and I assumed this would only be a problem with old CPUs). I will eventually get around to it, though.

Thanks Tommi,

I'll really appreciate it if you can salve this issue.

With the newer and more power M1 Mac models, these machines will become more and more popular.
