Real icons instead of dots in custom overlays
Hello!
Use case For example, in the "Things" overlay, each thing has its own icon in black (trash, bench, clock, vending_machine etc...) and it is possible (even if there is no quest on it) to select it and to show/edit tags. In a custom overlay displaying particular things, all these particular things have a coloured dots and not the "real" icon. Then, it is not easy to distinguish them.
Proposed Solution Could you replace the coloured dots by the real but coloured icon of each thing (trash icon, bench icon, clock icon, vending_machine icon etc...) ?
Thank! and sorry if someone already requested that.
This has to be opt-in. Colored dots are also a feature. Icons will lose information unless you color them.
Icons will lose information unless you color them.
They would; but that is why colored icon was requested:
[....] by the real but coloured icon of each thing
so basically only the icon shape would change (to the more informational one) and a color would be retained; so to me it seems it would not require special checkbox to opt-in (or do you disagree @rusty-snake and would prefer circles always for some reason?)
