No text box in landscape mode

Describe the bug

The keyboard in landscape mode hides some text fields and makes the text you type not visible for reading. This usually occurs within video game chats and when logging into some applications, such as Twitter for example (app version, not in the web browser).

To Reproduce

Download Twitter and when you're on the login screen type something and put your phone in landscape mode.

Expected behavior

The text should be visible while typing, like in Gboard for example which displays a text box to type on top of the keyboard.

Additional context

I've noticed that Gboard only creates its own text box in these particular cases, most of the time the original text field is displayed (I assume when it's readable, so it's not necessary).
