I am using an Anaconda environment in Ubuntu 22.04 for OmegaFold. Anaconda should provide you most of the dependencies and your GCC version should not be an issue

You can install Anaconda via the installation script from their website. After that, make sure that the conda environment is active, which should be evident from the word "base" in your command prompt.
