Feature Request
I used Hekili in classic wotlk, really enjoyed it alot. Any chance a version for classic cataclysm is in the works?

I do appreciate your quick response. However, I downloaded, unzipped the folder and placed in the appropriate addons folder but WoW does not recognize it's there and it will not load. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It's not loading because the Cataclysm branch on github is missing a ton of library files. Go to Add0ns\Hekili\Libs for the WotLK version and copy all those folders over to the Add0ns\Hekili\Libs for your new Cataclysm version (don't overwrite any existing files) and now the addon will work
HOWEVER, I personally suggest against using it. Right now there are only APLs for Feral Druids and Paladins. I tried it with Ret Paladin and it's broken beyond belief. The rotation simply refuses to include cooldowns even though it's set up to work properly. Zealotry will never show in the priority list and the addon will sometimes refuse to accept you are buffed (It'll keep telling you to use Kings even when you have it already). Sometimes it refuses to register your button presses and won't actually dynamically update your next expected attack. Other times it will randomly change between Himea and Lightclub APLs every time you pass through a loading screen.
Literally mashing my hotkeys with no thought would do more DPS than following the current addon setup provided with Himea's APL.

I installed onto the Cataclysm WoW client the Cataclysm branch of Hekili. Then I downloaded the WotLK branch of Hekili and copied from it all folders inside Libs other than the 4 that already were inside the Cataclysm version.

Did you refresh your APL? Probably still set to use the Wrath one if all you did was copy it over. Also, many settings changed, so you may need to view the Paladin tab and fix them (❁´◡`❁)

Wow, it's THE Himea!
Alright decided to test this. It solved a couple issues. Kings isn't sticking to the recommend and it doesn't change APL whenever I load anymore. However it still won't recommend Zealotry ever, it's enabled and cooldowns are enabled as well. Avenging Wrath shows up (without macro toggled on) but not Zealotry.
EDIT: Here's a screenshot showing that I am fulfilling all conditions listed in the ability APL control and neither of the Priority lists (AoE or Single) are saying to use Zealotry.

Edit: I think I was able to reproduce the issue and implement a fix. However, it will probably be a couple of days before my changes are merged into this repo. I've added an updated APL that you can copy from this Pastebin: https://pastebin.com/D1BQS7K9
In the game, open Hekili and go to my Retribution APL and under Profile Ctrl+A > Ctrl+V to overwrite what's in there from the Pastebin link, then make sure to click Accept, and then Import to apply the update.
The problem was related to the AoE rotation expecting the player to have Guardian of Ancient Kings learned, which is why it slipped past my testing on beta. Also, it doesn't matter right now, but I uncovered an issue with the Guardian of Ancient Kings buff tracking that won't be fixed until the code is updated so make sure to grab an updated version closer to Cataclysm launch (°ー°〃)

What do you mean updated? Are you telling me the Arms rotation in Cataclysm isn't 100% Sunder Armour? 😁

Having the same issue. I even tried to rename the folder just to Hekili, but it still doesn't show up in game.
ok So I got this working properly. First off, thanks for everyone's input. Here is what I did. Rename the folder hekili-cataclysm to Hekili with a capitol H after zip folder is extracted. Then I copied the previously working wrath version Libs folder (the current wrath version available will not work). I pasted the Libs folder contents into the cataclysm version Libs folder BUT DID NOT REPLACE ANY FILES.
Once done, the game recognized the addon and allowed me to load it up. It is considered updated and ready to run. It is working very well. I have tried it as pally ret and prot, as well as druid feral tank and cat. seems to be working great.
If none of this works for you, I can provide a copy of the addon I have installed which is working for me. Message me if you want a zip file from me.

My hero! This worked. I guess the two factors against it working were a) was downloading the hekili-wrath from github instead of the working version from curse, and b) the misnamed hekili folder.
Man it's nice to have it back. I've been trying to get weakauras to work for me, but apparently I'm an idiot, and can't do it. Thanks again!

Ive tried to do all of these steps, and nothing is working for me. im not sure exactly which version is the "last working wotlk" version. its been awhile since i stepped foot in northrend so i cant remember. im pasting the libs folder contents from the old wrath version into the libs folder and nothing is happening. the game is seeing that i have hekili as an addon, but cant /hekili or see anything

- copy your Wrath hekili (https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/hekili/files/5277497) to your cata Addons (if not done already by default -> classic\Interface\AddOns\Hekili)
- go to https://github.com/Hekili/hekili/archive/refs/heads/cataclysm.zip to download the new code
- extract the cataclysm.zip file and copy all the files from in it into your classic\Interface\AddOns\Hekili (from step1), overwrite all conflicts if asked
- reload wow -> no more errors
Please dont to it vice versa, since the cata release also contains a lib that you'd overwrite if you do it the other way around.

I did all this, no errors it seems. The problem for me, is that Primary and AOE display wont appear. Any suggestions?
Yeah the file i got sent from the other user works, the primary shows up, but the spells are so far out of whack. Im playing balance druid and its not recommending starsurge at all at any point in the rotation. im sure itll be fixed, but whatsup with that?
