Tombs of Terror: Primordial Bulwark will fail to save your hero from damage doubled by Anomaly - In The Face

While in tombs of terror (first plague) the double hero damage anomaly was on and I chose the primordial bulwark as the first treasure. The first time I was dealt lethal it ended up doing 18 over damage but the bulwark did not activate ( it activating and dealing 40 would have killed the boss)

When taking lethal damage with Primordial Bulwark active, if the lethal damage is applied due to the double damage effect of “In the Face”, Primordial Bulwark simply does not activate, and you die.
Several other reports as well. Similar to #1091 in nature, but since passives are applied before anomalies, this one would always happen even if there is no inherent priority between the two triggers.
Some have reported that it will fail to activate whether or not the damage would have been lethal without the anomaly.

Primordial Bulwark does not activate if the active run has Anomaly - In the Face.
