Adaptive “Mood Modes” for Feed/Content
Summary
Add a mode-based feed/content delivery mechanism to Komok that accounts for the user’s current state and intent (here-and-now). The user can explicitly choose a mode (e.g., Fun, Focus/Tech, Calm/Support), and the system further fine-tunes ranking using lightweight passive signals from the current session.
Problem
Current social feeds adapt to long-term behavior but ignore the “what do I need right now” context: watch something funny, find useful/technical material, or unwind from information noise. As a result, users waste time clicking through irrelevant content and burn out.
Hypothesis
Explicit modes plus lightweight session-level personalization will increase satisfaction, session depth, and conversion to target actions by reducing friction between the user’s momentary need and the feed output.
