You can do it and that's how I develop and debug wyzehacks. Unfortunately a recent beta firmware shows they changed the root password so you won't be able to login...
I haven't done this for a while, but last time I tried it no longer works with official firmware, so I won't be surprised if they changed it for rtsp...
Can you downgrade the firmware?
