Add a license to the repository

Open EliteMasterEric opened this issue 6 months ago • 3 comments

We were looking at forking the static site builder and modifying it for our own website over at The Funkin' Crew, but we just now realized that there's no listed open source license for the cookbook (and therefore contents), leaving it All Rights Reserved by default.

A specific license should be specified in the repository, ideally an open source one. GPL would probably be ideal for this particular case in my opinion.

Hi Mark, do you have any preference here as to what license that code should be distributed under?

Bumping this, would be nice to get it settled!

@kLabz If we don't get a response from Mark, can we just assume he has no preference and assign the repository the MIT license (the standard used by almost every other repo on the organization)?
