Enable Periodic Scanning not working

Describe the bug Periodic scanning isn't working. I have the time period as 60 seconds. Using 4 folders with files in them. When I click on "scan and convert", it just shows "running" at the top. I would imagine that one shouldn't be able to press "scan and convert" again, or at least it should have no effect. However, when I click "scan and convert" again, -at the top there is the countdown timer -the first file that was being worked on gets dumped -under the worker details (I just have 1 worker) it glitches the percentage, jumping from 1.3% to 3.2% back and forth

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Enable 4 folders
2. Click on "scan and convert"
3. Click on "scan and covert" again
4. See error(s)

Expected behavior The expected behaviour is to see the countdown timer the first time that "scan and convert" is pressed, and further pressing "scan and convert" should have no effect.

Additional context Seems a bit buggy.
