Custom brush alphaBlendOperation .max weird behavior

I'm using custom Brush and I set alphaBlendOperation = .max so I can always take the maximum alpha, however the brush works really great except for one situation when I used faded brush texture like the one used in glow brush and when lines are meeting the connection is not done smoothly.
