@before Short term: Consider modifying the code so you don't fetch the empty database any longer. For some projects it will be a quick fix to update the jar dependency....
As it turns out, the old style database from udger.com is not 100% compatible. First of all the DTD changed, and second, I notice already one change in the XML....
If your project depends on it, then build a new version yourself. Uadetector now supports the udger.com database. If you don't need the auto-update feature you can still use it...
