Option to disable slide gesture to close subreddit

It often happens that I accidentally close a subreddit by swiping to the right with my thumb. Very frustrating because I am usually deep into the subreddit and have to scroll back down manually. I am left handed which may make me more predisposed to this kind of issue (typically happens when app wrongly picks up on gesture, evaluates as right swipe instead of up). Solution would be to implement a setting that would disable this gesture.
