Hello, my friend asked me to translate this thing to Russian language, so I translated strings to russian. Could you please allow me to try this thing out.

Definitely! I haven't been writing Android lately, so I'm a bit rusty.

However, you'd do this by adding the folder app/src/main/res/values-ru/ Then you'd include your new strings file as app/src/main/res/values-ru/strings.xml

Please don't delete the English strings file!
