large pose result is weird

Thanks for release your job!And I meet a problem now. I have some profile face images, and want to get the frontal image. The results of little pose ( less than 60 ) are nice , but for large pose, such as 70° or 90°,the results are bad. Is it because the image resolution is too low? (128*128)Waiting for your reply, thanks!! imgs

Hi, these are reasonable results using 3DDFA which can be replaced with better models. The problem is caused by the inaccuracy of 3D fitting.

Hi all and author,

I have one question about training data. Which data you use for training ? When I render image with large pose (from 30 to 75 angle and vice versa ), the nose , cheeks and eyes region are different to real image.
