Language tag for audio and subtitle tracks (metadata)

Description of the feature or enhancement you'd like to see in HandBrake:

1. I'd like to have a way to tag the language of an audio track, like we can do in the subtitle menu.
2. I'd like to always be able to tag the language of a subtitle track. Right now, the UI says: "only for SRT/SSA". But I fail to see why I can't tag an existing subtitle track: both MP4 and MKV formats allow this sort of metadata.

In the Windows UI, on the audio tab, for each audio track, there is a pull-down arrow at the end of the track listing that opens additional information, including setting the track name. It is just to the left of the X for removing the track.

Is that not present on the Mac UI?

But the track name is a free field, it doesn't provide a language tagging system.

For example, I can configure my media player to always play English audio and display French subtitle: this is only possible because the video file has the correct tags. If the video file is tagged incorrectly, not tagged at all or with a free field name ("This is the English track" or whatever), my media player fails.

According to https://forums.plex.tv/t/set-audio-language-tag-mp4-mkv/114491, my request is equivalent to something like $ mkvpropedit movie.mkv --edit track:a1 --set language=eng --edit track:v1 --set language=eng for MKV

and MP4Box -lang 1=eng -lang 2=eng movie.mp4 for MP4

This would be useful when the source file is an *.M2TS file, which doesn't contain metadata, or when the metadata in the source file is incorrect (wrong language identifier).

This would be massively useful. I've been using Handbrake to transcode my Studio Ghibli Blu-Rays and was very confused to find 3 English audio tracks. It turns out they just don't have a language set and Handbrake is (confusingly) using English by default, but in this case it has English, Japanese, and Japanese audio commentary tracks. I've set the name of the tracks to make them distinguishable in the MKV, but it would be nice if I could specify the language code for them.

I'm also running into issues with MLPS sources either having the wrong language or no language associated with the audio tracks and/or subtitles. It would save a lot of time if the Lang dropdown was always present.

Same request. It'd be super useful to be able to override the audio/subtitle track language setting on the output in situations where the source media is incorrectly marked.
