[Game Mode Suggestions] Aces & Jokers

There are a few ways these could be implemented, but I believe all of these could be interesting new challenges for experienced players. I wanted to try and come up with modes similar to U||D, in which you thin the total # of cards in the deck while not being hit with the bottom-deck RNG issues of full Dark suits.

And in fact, most of these would remove all critical cards from the start of the game.

So here are the concepts: Aces (A)

• Remove the 5 from each suit
• All 1s are replaced with Aces, which can be played to start or finish a suit (in place of the 5)

Aces (B)

• Instead of removing the 5s, you'll actually need to play a 6th card (a second Ace) on each pile

(C, kind of)

• Also remove one of the 1s, for extra spice (for either A or B)

The other idea would be using Jokers instead of Aces. This would be my suggested implementation:

• Remove all 1s and 5s
• Instead, each suit gets 3 Jokers, which are Wild - they can be successfully played as any rank.
• (Another potentially interesting variation would be removing one 4 as well, but meh)

What if the Jokers replaced a random rank and you didn't know which? You'd have to keep the Joker around until you found the other cards from that suit. Too crazy?

That feels like an excess of strangeness. Plus it'd become very easy if you get all the 1s and Jokers on top.

Honestly I think Aces would be more fun in any case!

A look too close to Up & Down and less interresting than it. But balance wise, you get the same amount of cards, lose tha ability to play 2 before 4, but has more choice to end the suit, so that look fine. But since Up & Down is really fun imo, that could still be enough fun. B is more like a why, you kinda ignore all your Ace until the end game or until they are all criticals, and then you play them. BC is more interresting since all 1s are critical, but feel unfair.
