It would be nice to add Getting Started, Running the Tests and Deployment section to README.md to help possible new contributors.

I looked for something similar but did not find anything.

Would love to second this. I'd like to get into this challenge and run it locally for fun. The original links are defunct, and two sigma has no archive of the original pages. Instructions on how to build/compile the halite executables as well as run a visual replay server. All of this would be nice to have.
