This would be awesome! I did see you implemented google calendar sync though using Google’s own web api, as there is also an available CalDAV interface for Google Calendar. This is only comment as I know you’ve already created the implementation and I don’t want to give extra work by accident.

It would be nice to have a separate CalDAV only implementation for people like me who don't use Google, and use CalDAV with their own email provider.
