my rotarycraft machines are getting colder and colder and...
all my rotarycraft machines are consistently getting colder and colder. it doesn't feel like the seasons system that was added because all the water at my farm is doing just fine. my rotarycraft machines are getting close to -30 and keep on getting colder. its gotten to the point where i had to move my blast furnace into a desert for it to work. you don't notice this problem in the beginning of the game but it has become a real issue that has stopped me from using the 'dew point aggregator'. because of the fact that i can't cool the further past -30 with packed ice, i can't create the all important water that my machines need. (it's required to be cooler than ambient temperature. if ambient temperature is, for the machine anyway, -30, then what am i supposed to do). as i had said before my blast furnace is now unusable in my base and i can't use steam engines because i need water to do so. please help
heres a picture of the issue
3 hours later my temperature went back up to -27, so it seems to be a part of the game. that being said -30 is really damn cold and it made my production go way down. if it could go down to a maximum -5 or -10 that would be fine but -30? at least have some insulation in the game. (you could use wool blocks)
Having the same issue. Even more annoying is the constantly changing temperature, making ethanol production very tedius.
Looking at your image I see a lot of Rotarycraft pipes. Are you aware that they act as cooling blocks (like Ice or snow) when filled with water?
For your fermenter there is a block fairly early in Chromaticraft that will fix that issue... It will run the blast furnace without the need for a lava or fire block. And will even work to make a fuel free furnace... If you dont mind the lack of Exp output or speed.
its the lubricant, if you have any of it near (in pipes or epically reservoirs) stuff it gets cold
- grab a res of lube
- place near water
- ...
- profit, no I mean ice!?
