That message happens when it is connected to a USB 2.0 port. It only works when connected to a USB 3.0 port.

Maybe the BIOS is treating those USB ports as legacy USB 2.0. Check the BIOS. Maybe a BIOS update can solve this issue.

It is probably a faulty USB port. The firmware isn't permanently stored in the camera. It loses its firmware whenever unplugged.

As I said, the software or firmware doesn't change anything on the PS5 camera. So, what could happen to your camera is a mystery.

As far as I know, that has never happened to anyone in the past. Even after four years of using the PS4 camera with this method, I can't remember anyone...

I believe this issue is caused by the new Windows update. This driver has been developed by @psxdev and hasn't been updated for a long time.
