How do I get "EDT" instead of "GMT-4" in the new React-Datepicker dateFormat?

I just upgraded from 1.5.0 to 4.8.0... and everything crashed, slowly figured out that moment support was dropped for date-fns.. so I figured out the format - https://date-fns.org/v2.29.2/docs/format , however - I need "EDT" in the formatting, not "GMT-4" and date-fns doesn't seem to have support for that..??

How do I get the kind of format I need like "EDT" instead of "GMT-4" ... the average front end user isn't going to understand "GMT-4" need to use common terms for them like "EDT" , this is what I'm currently plugging in to the react component: dateFormat="cccccc MM/dd/yyyy h:mm aa z" , If i try using Z it just causes an error.

Has anyone been able to figure this out?
