USABILITY: too much ambiguity

I would like to offer that for a system which will be used in the event of a limited thermo-nuclear war, time is of the essence. I like to offer the following suggestions:

  1. volunteers might not have any computer knowledge. keep it simple. ATM level of sophistication
  2. uncertain if there are any mobile versions for portability
  3. Remove as much info from the screen as possible.

Perhaps we should arrange for EMP shielding for the machine as well while we're at it lol...

You make a good point for the scenario you describe, but I don't think anyone seriously considers this a tool to be used in a nuclear holocaust. You'd be better off spending your time hunter / gathering...
