Write a JOSS paper for better citation?
Hello @amete, @graeme-a-stewart, one can see from the Zenodo page that you have some papers citing prmon, which is great. We would also like to cite prmon in LHCb ... The Zenodo DOI is nice, but it would make sense to me that you write a little JOSS paper and encourage people to cite that. What do you think?
Hi @eduardo-rodrigues, @amete, @graeme-a-stewart - I’d be happy to help draft the JOSS paper for prmon.
I can prepare a paper.md following JOSS guidelines - concise abstract, statement of need, software overview (architecture, metrics collected) and usage examples -taking reference the existing Zenodo DOI .
If you’re open to it, please assign me the issue and I’ll open a draft PR with the initial structure for review and collaboration.
Hello @Sahilll10
Thank you for the offer to help, but this is really an issue for the developers of the package to tackle (even if we haven't got around to it yet).
Best wishes, Graeme
Hi @graeme-a-stewart ,
I'm Joy Vardhan(@joyy-7921) and I'm new to contributing to open source. I've been exploring HEPSF, and I'd really like to start contributing to any project. Could you please help me?
Thanks!
