A question about image normalization

Hello, appreciate your work very much. As a beginner, I have a question. In the image normalization part, I saw that you used the max-min normalization, why not use the z-score normalization?

Short answer: "if it works, don't fix it."

So far I did not had to change the normalization to make it work, so I haven't touched it. Now, I might investigate other normalizations in the future, to see if it helps with the initialization or not. But that will be for the journal extension.
