Settings and User Options broken

Mac M3 Max OS: Sonoma 14.7.1 Java: jdk 21.0.3 HDFView: 3.3.2

What I want to do: Open HDFView>Settings Image

(Note also grayed out shortcuts)

What happens: Nothing. No new windows open.

What I want to do: Work with Tools>User Options>General Settings/HDF Settings/View Module Settings

What happens: Preferences window opens with General Settings/HDF Settings/View Module Settings in the left column, but no content in the right column. Image
