guake window slipping down after each re-open with i3wm

Describe the bug Then I'm try to open guake window it shows the window lower than it was previously closed But if I open new tab or restore to normal mode from fullscreen, the window is moved to the correct position

Expected behavior guake window stand on top on the screen

Actual behavior guake window slipping down after each re-open

To Reproduce Just open and close guake using hotkey (f12)

I had same issue as you, but a work around has been found check here, worked for me also on arch:-
