Hello, I'm one of the developer of Siril software (www.siril.org). We recently wrote a short document explaining why we've had added a new FITS keyword and why we would like that every FITS data producers do the same. The document: https://free-astro.org/index.php?title=Siril:FITS_orientation

Do you think it would be possible to introduce this keyword in your software?

Great idea! As it happens, I was bit by this issue not long ago when working on another project.

I can add it - though we currently don't have a schedule for releasing a new version.
