[Feature Request] Auto Collapse Old Entries
Thanks for creating this great extension! I have been using it everyday for almost a year. My only issue is every time I open vscode, all my notes are expanded and shown in the tree-view. I have to scroll down to the bottom to open the most recent entries. Is it possible to only expand the notes in the current month and collapse the old entries when start vscode?
It should remember which nodes are expanded or collapsed when it restarts. If you collapse the tree (using the button in the titlebar) and reload the window, does it expand them all again?
If i collapse the tree and reload the window, the tree remains collapsed to year level. I have to manually expand the tree to the most recent month. When i restart vscode, the tree still collapses to year not to the most recent month.
Ah OK. When you click the "today" button it looks like it doesn't seem to reveal it within the tree - if it revealed it, would that be OK? It would create a journal entry though.
To be honest, I haven't done any work on this extension for a long time, so it could do with some tidying up. It looks like there is something fishy going on with restoring the tree state, so I'll try and fix that.

If I click Today under the collapsed view, it does expand the tree to the most recent entries as I would like to see. The issue with this operation is that it will create an entry for today even if I don't have the intention to write anything for the day....but it does seem to be the quickest workaround so far. Thanks!
