Enabling Todo Tree stops VSCode features

When I enable Todo Tree for my workspace, features like Search, Fuzzy search, Typescript IntelliSense etc all freeze. I've tried disabling and enabling all of my extensions and I reduced it down to just Todo Tree which causes the issue.

I'm not sure what else I can provide to help debug the issue - any comments I'll try and address for information I can get that will aid debugging.

This is for Todo Tree v0.0.226 using node v18.18.0 for VSCode 1.87.0
