Use in commercial software products and data privacy policy

Could someone point me to where I can read more about the license rights on the usage of this extension in for-profit commercial software releases? Further, what is the data privacy policy where is the data/code always only kept local and ripgrep applied locally?

The code is under MIT license, according to License.txt and same info on VS Marketplace. So it depends on how it's used in commercial software.

As for privacy concerns, the extension doesn't send any data over network but you can and should read the code to verify before using the extension in a highly sensitive environment.
