I wish this plugin can save regex searches for later use, and people can configure their saved searches in the plugin config tab. Moreover, it would be awesome if one can quickly invoke a saved search through the command palette.

Thanks a lot for sharing your ideas! I'll check if this functionality can be somehow brought to the plugin - it definitely needs some considerations design-wise. However since I'm quite busy at the moment it will probably take a bit.
