Sounds like your switch/router does not support autosensing? Could it be that you may need to enable that?

The latest version of the firmware is version 3.10j . What happens if you do not do a 10-times consecutive overwrite of the same file but upload 11 different files?

Have you tried copying the disk using real target hardware? Does the resulting copy/disk work if you copy it that way?

On macOS 11 with SIDFactoryII_LINUX_%cs.fed95a7 – built from source – the described issue does not exist. The described issue neither exists in the pre-built SIDFactoryII_macOS_20210104.547f6a3 version.

The issue also shows itself when offline with local echo on. Just type in the terminal and there you go.
