Show inactive plantings/gardens

I'd like to redo some #index pages as reactjs components on the page. The goal is to help users find plantings e.g. When i want to mark this cucumber plant as finished , i have to search and click through a lot to find my planting. Instead the platings#index can be a react component to quickly filter by active, crop, annual/perennial, and maybe some more components.
