Looking to manually trigger undo from another button

I am trying to trigger the undo action from a button instead of from the toolbar, I am having some trouble with this however. The undo button from the toolbar itself is rendered as a list element but doesn't seem to be having any onClick action added to it.

Has anyone tried doing this so far?
