Fallen Paladins can't adventure with evil characters

I decided to check out what Paladin->Blackguard was like. However, even with alignment restrictions turned off in lax rules, it's impossible to add other evil characters to a party with a (fallen) paladin. So even though you can technically get a paladin in an evil party that way, you can't actually get any other evil people in it (at least, not PCs).
