DWI Images Acquisition
Hi! First of all let me thank you for sharing this dataset, I will use it among others in my master thesis project. I was wondering if the DWI images have been acquired pre (ischemic core) or post (final lesion) trombectomy. If it was post-treatment, by any chance do you have the TCI score of that procedure? Thank you in advance!
I think the DWI images were acquired pre thrombectomy. In addition, only the visual data is available currently. Since the patients' information is anonymized, it is difficult for us to find the clinical data. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Is there any way you could get to know certainly if they were pre-thrombectomy? This is an important piece of information, since it changes what we are in deed segmenting and also allows me to pair (or not) your dataset with others I have access to. No problem about the metadata I was just checking, maybe you had it. Thanks!
Since AISD is mainly for acute ischemic stroke segmentation on CT images, the CT images were acquired pre thrombectomy. However, for the DWI images, we are not sure whether all of them are pre thrombectomy or not, because the DWI images are only used as complementary references for annotation. What we know is the patients underwent DWI within 24h after taking CT.
