[BUG] Air and Noble Gases have weird compositions and inconsistent centrifuge outputs
Air as it is defined in GTCE currently is composed of:
- 40 parts Nitrogen
- 11 parts Oxygen
- 1 part Argon
- 1 part Noble Gases
Things get weirder here as Noble Gases are defined as containing:
- 25 parts CO2
- 11 parts Helium
- 4 parts Methane
- 2 parts Deuterium
- 1 part Radon
Air's composition seems largely fine, but the composition of Noble Gases makes no sense at all. Noble Gases are a specific category of the periodic table consisting of (excluding synthetic elements): Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, and Radon. These are all found in trace amounts in the atmosphere, and should be what make up Noble Gases rather than that other stuff.
Things get even stranger when you factor in the centrifuge recipes for these fluids.
Centrifuging 53B Liquid Air produces:
- 32B Nitrogen
- 8B Nitrogen
- 11B Oxygen
- 1B Argon
- 1B Noble Gases
Which makes sense except for the Nitrogen being split into two stacks.
Centrifuging 34B of Noble Gases produces:
- 21B CO2
- 9B Helium
- 3B Methane
- 1B Deuterium
Which does not fit its defined composition ratio and the Radon in its definition is missing entirely.

Steps To Reproduce
- Look at composition of Air/Liquid Air/Noble Gases
- Look at centrifuge recipes for same
Expected behavior The actual composition of Air is (quoting wikipedia):
78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases.
Omnifactory customizes the compositions of these fluids such that Noble Gases is actually composed of Noble Gases, and the ratios are better preserved. I would propose that these ratios are worth adopting in base GTCE as well.
53B Liquid Air fractionally distills into:
- 40B Nitrogen
- 11B Oxygen
- 1B CO2
- 1B Noble Gases
53B Noble Gases fractionally distills into:
- 35B Argon
- 11B Neon
- 5B Helium
- 1B Krypton
- 1B Xenon
Notably there is no Radon in Noble Gases, but there wasn't in base GTCE either. In reality, this gas does not exist in the atmosphere: it is a radioactive substance produced due to decay of Radium-226 found in Uranium ore.
