MSM_Limiter
Is there any possible way you would ever support msm_limiter? I have successfully added msm_limiter to kernel manager apps in android studio that have worked. I just really dont wanna go though all the hassle to add everything detail of all the other kernel related settings. Which Kernel Adiutor already has.......
Really in msm_limiter your only listing freq for each core: 0 -3 and govs as well for each core 0 -3 .. It can be enabled or disabled.. peepz with msm_limiter kernels can use it and peepz that dont have it. can keep it disabled...... Only dif, is msm_limiter compatible kernels go though /sys/kernel/msm_limiter to change freq and settings, while all other rest go though the original way.....
Any idea if msm_limiter exists for devices with more than 4 cores?
That is something I have wondered my self, the G4 is 4 cores with 2 cores of something else. Best bet is to talk to Neobody89 on that.... I dont have a G4, I have the G3..... but the G5 which is coming out soon with a SnapDragon 820 said to have only 4 cores. Doesnt make sense to me... Im thinking that the 4 cores is pretty good enough.....
I have a big commit that actually added msm_limiter. Unfortunately, the code is pretty fixed at 4 cores. I'm going to try to rewrite it to be more flexible.
Yea, I got my hands on your version.. Synapse is a broken issue on MM roms.. and I develop my own Kernel Called Nebula Kernel Rev12.4 now.. and I have way to many features to not have something to control them. Synapse was great on LP roms. But problematic on MM roms.....
I took your source and added alucard touch boost and State Notifier.. I dont use POwer suspend anymore. newer devices use State Notifier which works best anyhow. and we dont use CPU boost anymore.. we use Alucard touch boost...
I was going to fix the forced fast charge as well. The Kernel adiutor version doesnt work well. as the one I have on synapse.. so I was going to just plant the same options over..........
Im not so great with Java as I am with C....... but im trying..........
