Lock screen briefly flickers/blanking during passcode entry (Pixel 10, Android QPR2)

While entering my passcode on the lock screen, the display briefly flickers—almost like the screen turns off/black for a split second—then immediately returns. It’s very fast (under a second) and easy to miss, but it happens often enough to be disruptive. Because fingerprint unlock usually bypasses passcode entry, many people may not notice this issue. I mostly notice this on first unlock only

I am getting the same problem on Pixel 10 Pro after updating from 2025120400 to 2025121200. I also have Always-On Display enabled and I'm seeing this effect very often shortly after unlocking the screen. But I see it happening even with fingerprint unlock, but it seems somewhat random. Sometimes it blinks even while the device is locked or unlocked. This has never happened on the previous OS release.
