Storage Scope cannot access files in Private Space

Open oppressor1761 opened this issue 11 months ago • 8 comments

Storage scope in main user can not access photos and files in Private Space.

Steps

  1. Turn on Storage Scopes for an app A in main user
  2. launch Private Space
  3. Add a file to app A's storage scopes. Choose a file or photo in Private Space

The result is a toast saying Unknown Scope. I wonder if it is expected or a bug.

I am also seeing the inverse. Storage Scopes in the Private Space allow folders from Personal Space to be selected, but it says "Unknown scope"

I am seeing what marxjohnson is seeing. Does anyone know of a resolution?

Any updates on this? This is still an issue with private spaces and sharing files via storage scopes. Every time I try to add something from main profile to private space via storage scopes, I get "Unknown scope".

Same issue here.

Bumping this again, as this really sucks from a user experience perspective.

Please don't bump issues. Use the thumbs up reaction on the original issue.
